Kobus trains employees smarter and safer with 3D

Kobus P&O, part of Labour Power Company, supports companies in the production, logistics, and food sectors with well-trained employees. In addition to personnel placement, Kobus actively invests in training and development, so employees can work safely, efficiently, and with enjoyment.

The challenge
Kobus works with employees from different countries, with varying language levels, backgrounds, and work experience. Conveying complex tasks, safety instructions, and machine operations therefore requires extra attention.
Existing training formats, such as text manuals, presentations, and on-the-job explanations, did not always align well. New employees started with basic knowledge, but individual guidance required a lot of time and repetition from trainers.

The solution
Kobus uses the online learning platform from MetaChef, where employees train practical skills through interactive 3D learning tools. Complex tasks and safety steps are explained visually and can be practiced in advance.
The learning environment includes, among other things, 3D modules for the packaging processes of cucumbers, bell peppers, and Brussels sprouts, as well as a fresh logistics environment that covers common processes and risk situations.
Employees practice step by step and can repeat instructions at any time. The modules are available in multiple languages, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace and in their own language. This results in a faster, safer onboarding period and less strain on trainers.

"It is of great importance to us, now and in the coming years, to give maximum attention to training within the theme of safety. With this approach, we can do so very effectively and affordably."
