Europastry accelerates product development and sales with the MetaChef Configurator
Europastry is a European bakery group that combines traditional baking techniques with innovation. The originally Spanish company is among the most progressive players in the sector and opened a production facility in Oldenzaal in 2015.
The challenge
Europastry wanted to present new product and packaging concepts to customers quickly, even before investing in production lines. During customer presentations, however, working with physical mock-ups proved time-consuming and costly. Customers wanted to view and compare different product and packaging combinations immediately. Europastry therefore sought an efficient way to visually present these variants, without relying on physical samples.
Our solution
During the period when physical products and packaging were not yet available, Europastry used the MetaChef 3D Configurator to present product and packaging concepts in real-time and lifelike. Salespeople could view and adjust different variants together with customers on a laptop or tablet. Products and packaging were digitally developed in 3D models in advance, allowing Europastry to gather customer feedback early. These insights helped in making the right choices for the type of packaging line that was ultimately invested in.
